351 cleveland block ???

I've got a 71 351 cj block , it hasn't been bored what's it worth?

2 bolt or 4 bolt?

make sure it's not busted in the lifter galley. Mine was and machine shop said it was common. So did animal jim

You're really funny there 95lightininguy nice try . No it's not cracked in the lifter area. A friend had a really nice Torino when he got outta the army and decided to go drinking and wrapped it around a tree , I took the block , his brother got the heads.

I had a 72 4-bolt motor minus the carb dizzy and intake all disassembled.
Didnt know anything about it. I told the guy $350 for it. The guy couldnt get his money out fast enough....

Some guys try to give a value. Some say get whatever you can get. So go figure

When I dropped a valve in my 70 model 351 clev I sold the 4v heads,cam,intake, 7 pistons/rods,and the crank got $1000 out of these parts and the head that dropped the valve had to have some work on it before it could be used.With this said I believe you could get $300 to $400 if its a good block to someone that wanted a good 351c 4 bolt main.The 351c stuff around here is getting hard to find.

Might have told you alittle cheap on your block looking a ebay they wanting anywhere from $500 to $900 on 2 bolt main blocks the $900 block was a CJ block.
