Yes i did. im hoping to make 900 hp. im having kaase redo the heads and come up with a camshaft for me. i wonder how much flow i can get out of those old school A429 heads.

T&D shaft rocker arms? or Jesel?
Nice stuff.

A429 heads can be modded to perform very well. Not sure if 900 HP capable.

My A429's were done in 1996. Still have these heads on my 502" Certainly not a maximum effort, didnt flow them over .700" sadly.

Intake (lift / flow @28")
.200 / 152 cfm
.300 / 237
.400 / 293
.500 / 325
.600 / 358
.700 / 376

Exh (lift / flow @28" no pipe)
.200 / 117 cfm
.300 / 161
.400 / 200
.500 / 224
.600 / 245
.700 / 258

Cool build, reminds me of the '67 mustang that came with one of my summit catalogs. It was a 572 with SCJ heads.

well i sold my old a429's, intake, carb, and A460 block. and picked up C-heads, T&D rockers, Ross gas ported pistons, GRP aluminum rods and in a few weeks im picking up a eliminator premier block. My final combo is going to be 632 cubes. i wanna make 1100hp hopefully i will be able to.

well its been a while since i have updated my build thread. since i bought the C-heads used i sent them to Kaase to completly go thru them and flow test them. They should be returning to me shortly. So all i need now is a block and 4.75 crank to really get this engine built. i have a problem with picking what block to use. Either the premier eliminator block or a A460 block. i already had a A460 block and i sold it because im building a 632 w/ nitrous and i was told the A460 wasnt stout enough for that cubic inch with nitrous. but then someone told be the cylinder length in a A460 is longer than the eliminator block is this tru because if it is i think the longer cylinder would be better for the 4.75 stroke. help me out

Well Kaase just called and my heads are on there way back. Ill post pics and the flow numbers as soon as i get the sheet. He told me that they flowed a little over 470cfm on the intake and 350cfm on the exhaust. flow numbers are kinda low but they told me it was because im running a 2.40 intake valve and not a 2.45. They also said that a A460 block was plenty strong for my combo.
