Question is too hard to answer cuz of so many different box car sizes out there Razz

. Also depends on if the box car in question has no internal load dividers (for one big open load carrying space), or 2 internal load dividers (creates 3 separate load carrying spaces), or even more load dividers.

I know from 20+ years of working on RR box cars at one brewery, the average number of pallets of beer they used to load into assorted different box cars (with "open" 24 can cases @ aprox 96 cases per pallet IIRC) ranged from the mid 40's to mid 50 pallets per box car.
