New gal from Alabama

Post  HorsepowerHeels on Fri 17 Dec - 10:56

Stopping in after Nick told me about this site. I miss my BBF, hoping someday I'll be able to finish it again and drag my sled back out to race some.

Anyways, I'm Erica... used to drive a BBF Twin Turbo Thunderbird. My old site is www.horsepowerandheels.com its way out of date, but you can see some old vids/photos of the car.

Unfortunately, this economy has sidelined me indefinitely. I'm hoping to be able to focus some more energy later in 2011 to trying to get back out there, but now family health and longevity is what occupies my time.

You need to come and hang out with us at the BBF Bash in KY this year.

I'm sure a few of us will let you borrow a car and drive Wink

Erica,

Welcome that T-Bird ran real well for a stock Ford block and Scat cast crank it ran in the high 6's i think.I still wish i would of came over and talked to you at the Fun Ford Norwalk race when you had the T-bird there a few years ago.

I'm pretty sure it was a 4-bolt SCJ block, was filled, used a forged crankshaft, and was tuned by one of the most respected names in Ford racing history. It is nevertheless quite a feat. Smile

I bet there will be plenty of driving opportunities in 2011.. with the new series here in Indy I bet there will be a need for drivers up here.
