8.8 questions
Ok, So i wanna have 9 inch ends installed on my 8.8 to not have to use the cclip eliminators, local shop says they can do for 200 installed with parts.....sounds fair to me
So axle wise: Do i need to change the current axles, or do i get them modified.
Is the axle an off the shelf item
Do i need to change anything brake wise, can i use the brakes and e brake i already have on the car? (2002gt rear discs)
I am not narrowing the axle at all, but i have no clue (didnt think to ask the chasis shop, and didnt wanna bug him again)

Re: 8.8 questions
You need to buy a set of proper length axels set-up for the 9" ford bearings, your existing 8.8 will not work.
Call Strange, Moser or another manufacture of your choice and get what you need.

Re: 8.8 questions
if you get the proper bolt pattern and flange depth you can reuse your stock brakes. Call Strange and talk with them.

Re: 8.8 questions
Sorry it took so long I had forgotten about it ! The part numbers that I have are: A 1092 and A 1090C . These are the c - clip eliminator for stock axles and the part no. for what they call a wedding ring or locking collar. good luck and I hope this helps.
