Oh I agree with you that it won't break.

What I disagree with is where you said,

Absolutely not true. I am personally aware of engines where the Kasse pump was used and was found to simply not be up to the task asked of it and could not maintain oil pressure for the engine builds and their applications. Not every build is a "1000-ft & shut it down scenario," for example, and will need oil pump characterisitcs suitable an engine's specific need.

And there's nothing wrong with that; I'm just emphasizing that we need to have several pump options as we have other component options, which is why I replied,

By the way, I am aware of two differnt aftermarket parts manufacturers working on altogether new design oil pumps for the 385 Series. Cool
