We have a little 1/8 mi. track about 30 min. from home thats about like that. I won't even go there too watch it's so bad. Its anything goes, the one time I was there ,a guy had a 4sec.Mopar there and he made some passes after everyone watched him drink 4 beers. They don't even know what the word tech means affraid At the stripe the track goes up very abruply and alot of wrecks happen each season. Pay's good money though Rolling Eyes

Ain't worth it IMO, if they are that loose with the rules and all that, I bet they don't do a good job prepping the track either. Then I could be running against a guy (that had 4 too many) and now I'm at risk of wrecking due to another's stupidity. I know your being sarcastic, I bet those are the places where its not even fun because no one is doing their job properly. Its no fun when you got to worry the whole event, tech at my track is pretty good and I'm glad about that.

I like racing at US60..It's a good little track, short shut down, but smooth. The dirt in the pits is the worst part of racing there. There's been a couple of guys life flighted out of there in the last few years. But ,in their defense. The one I saw..I was at the end of the track putting my chute in the car on the return road when a blown dragster running high low 4's had a throttle hang wide open. affraid He went by me about 30 feet from me at probably 200 MPH . The car was all NHRA certified..What a spectacular crash that one was!! I've hauled quite a bit of cash out of that place Laughing king
