You are doing a great job, it looks amazing. Are the bed side majority fiberglass? Is a step side the same length as a fleetside? I got an excab 99 that was a step side but I did not get the box and now I am trying to figure out what it was

Yes the step side are fiberglass the skins wait is about 35# each if that much don't have anything to wiegh them, the say on the in inside splash and had the part # but I painted over the sticker. The splash and regalur step sides have the same bed but not sure on if they are the same as fleet side in lenth or not I have sent the rest of the bed to the scrap yard.

Just a update got some more parts this week 4 link kit, wheels for the rear welds pro star 15x12,4150 850 dp holley, new flex plate, oil filter relocation kit, now to get the 9'' dug out and get it ready to go under it after building the rearend it will be time to start the sheet metal until I save enough for lexan for windows, rear shocks and springs, seat, seat belts, shifter, stall conveter, front wheels, tires, and so more I can't think of right now. Idea
Tires on the wheels are for mock up and rolling the truck around until I get ready to carry to the track my brother gave them to me the are late model tires

Well we got alittle done yesterday and today got the new flexplate on shift kit installed motor and trans back in .Put the wheels on for my wife could see how they look on it,looks like the 9'' will have to be 10'' narrower than the stock rear is. Here are a couple pics the first one has my wife and nephews the pit crew.

Changed the intake today going to have to trim alittle under the winshield to clear for the carb hat.Look like it has enough room in the pics but I only have about a 1'' of clearance and the carb hat want work.

She alive finaly fired right up run about 3mins and shout off my dizzy don't have 12vts it don't fire the battery was low from bumping it over getting everything ready to fire up aleast that what hope it is. Could let it charge for a few mins and it would fire right back up and would shout off when I would turn the fuel or water pump on.I try it again tomorrow after my battery gets charged and get a vid of it the batteries was dead to day forgot to charge it.

I use to own a 99 ranger exactly like yours! I always thought that was the best looking Ranger they ever made. I would love to build a tube chassis Ranger and use that body style one day when I hit the lottery.
