Nick yes I have added 1 more to it just haven't posted anymore pics I have about got the rear ready to paint the chassis and sheet metal it .The bars look alot longer than they are I think if I rememder right they are 58" long.I have about 6 or 8 small pieces of tubing to weld in the bed area for the sheet metal. Then I am going to get started on framing out for the seats and sheet metal on the inside.Went to summit last weekend and picked up 2 seats the cheap summit seats for now.

Just alittle update got my 5 point seat belts from speedway motors made some seat mounts at work for the seats. I had to add another bar behind the seat for the belts to bolt too when I welded the bar behind the seat on the cage I put it to low for the seat belts. If I would had bolted the belt to it the belt mount would have 6 1/2" below my shoulder the rule book said it could only be 4" below. With the new bar it will be level with my shoulder and that is how the layout for the belts shows and nhra rule book shows. Don't want to cut corners on safety hope I never need any of it but want it right just in case. Now I like building gas padel and getting the bracket for it welded in and linkage rod to carb built I hate cables. Then I can repaint chassis and cage and get started to the aluminum sheet metal.

Got a few of the little things done yesterday the little things seems to take longer than the bigger ones well got the control panel for the switches installed, brake pedal moved over, gas pedal made and linkage for it,the shifter stand welded in,and my belts bolted in and seats if I have to bolt the seats in and out to many more time I am going to have to buy new bolts. But that is part of getting everything mocked up and right the fun part of it all Rolling Eyes .I am debating on lowering the front end next or painting the cage and chassis again after adding the rest of the tubbing and 4 link .It will mostly depend on the weather for witch one is next calling for rain the rest of this week.So I will more than likely do the frontend no money involved in lowering it.I need to buy some of them cheap traps to cover the cab and engine before painting man I am sure ready to finish the cage. Then the aluminum sheet medal work begains.

I sold my holley dizzy and replacing it with a MSD 6AL and Durospark Dizzy I needed a rev limiter.I ordered a new MSD 6AL tonight as soon as I get it and go get my drive shaft if I ever get off work in time.I am going to try to finish the paint on it for I can start the insides. The wife's van put a damper on things for alittle but maybe I am getting back on track now.

Take a day off work to take care of some stuff and get my truck put back together and get some panels cut and fitted for I can carry them to work and use the brake to bend the bed panels.Sun out raining like crazy with dark clouds and thundering coming can hear it in the back groumd.I can't even take off work to work on the truck one day I will build a shop at the house I can work in one day,in stead of under a trap.Yes it was in Rick's shop but I brought it home to finish the painting under the trap and do the sheet metal.Well heres the flooding part with the t-storm and lightening better get off here.
