Heading for OH next sunday to pick up Lethal Addiction's 604 C head engine. After that it is off to RM Comp to get a few things upgraded. Randy is going to go through it and make sure everything is ready for a long life in my truck. I am going to have Randy drop it on a dyno and make sure it's all tuned up and ready to rock and roll. Hope I get at least 500HP out of it. Laughing Knowing Randy's talents, twice that will be no problem. It will be early spring before it hits the dyno. Cool

Going from a 552" DOVE engine to this is going to be a huge upgrade. Twisted Evil There is a lot to be done to the truck while I wait for the engine to get done. Cool

Call me George Jefferson, I'm movin on up. Going to Modified now, and going to be in Denny's class. It's been in the planning stages for about a year, but I thought it was going to be further down the road. I was going to build a 598 A head engine in a couple years, but when this engine came up for sale, I couldn't resist. Very Happy

Actually got one from Denny. He is going to a glide setup, so I'm buying his old C6. It has quite a few upgrades and one of Frank's transbrakes. I already have 1350 U-joints in it, but the 9" is going to need quite a few upgrades. I'm still surprised at how well the welded spiders are holding up considering the amount of power I'm dishing out now. I will brace the rear of the housing, and put in my spool, maybe upgrade the axle shafts to some better pieces.

Sweet Cool So are you just going to Randy's shop once? He's maybe 45 minutes up from me. Won't be long before I will be going to his shop with the way things are going at my current machine shop. Since your coming to MI, why not go to Hell? Hell Mi Razz Smallest town I've ever been in, one could drive through it and not eve know where they just were. I'm sure Randy will get you some good HP #'s.

Justin, I live in Nebraska and am surrounded by small towns. There is a town named Sparks in northern NE that is population of 2. Husband and wife they take turns at being the mayor and postmaster. Laughing

Dropped the engine off with Randy. It has a few items that we are going to change and a lot that will be left alone. The aluminum rods are getting tossed in favor of a set of Oliver steel rods. The lifter bores are getting reamed out for larger diameter lifters, and the crank is going to Adney's for a nose job. The heads had SS valves in them and the intakes are going to be traded out for a set of Ti valves. Randy said the exhaust side looks fine and the SS valves will be retained there. Cool
