need help with turbo converson on a 7.3

i have the early model 99 f250 7.3 diesel.problems with the old turbo led me to do the later model converson.i have the correct 3" intake plenums,intake x pipe and turbo from 2000-2001 model 7.3.

i was told that i needed a non exaust back presure valve turbo pedistol from the earlyer model.i bought a new pedistol from the diesel sight but it is about 1 1/2 short best as i can tell.when the turbo is mounted the turbo intake inlet will not mount up with the x pipe intake.

i seem to have the wrong pedistol anyone know the correct piece to buy?
