What intake gaskets you waiting for? I used the one's from Lem on a few BBFs and they seem to be holding up just fine.

cometics

meth is harder on stuff, the sce gaskets started separating on me, the half on the intake side slid up 1/8" on all the ports, only been on a year. The bond on the layers of the gasket where they are put together looks to have not held lol.

meth monkey...

I don't know who makes the gray looking ones I get from Lem but they have been better than anything I've gotten in a long time. These are sort of a cardboardish looking material.

I suspect the green oil killed the gaskets.

i wonder if these would help the seal on my deal since the heads are hog out and the felpro's are so flimsy around the edges of the ports ?

never used them, but this is what they claim

These Intake Gaskets offer a solid intake manifold base, minimizing
warpage and helping to block heat. They will not tear or saturate with the use of alcohol.
They are also safe to use with gasoline, nitro, nitrous oxide and high boost applications

just noticed to the surface on this intake is smooth as glass, the head side did not slip. It wouldnt hurt to "rough up" the intake a bit to give it some bite.
