Start of Bryans azz whooping!

Post  514Fox87 on March 6th 2011, 8:37 am

Got the first piece of the puzzle yesterday. Gonna build a 545 with full worked P-51 or SCJ heads by Evans Race engines. Lem will spec. the cam and rotating assembly from Adney. Rest of the puzzle I will decide later.[flash][/flash][flash][/flash]

Build has changed a little. Uncle Charlie has the A429 heads for a max port job with a Lem spec. roller cam. Gonna do the spanking with 466ci instead of the 545! Pics to come.

This is gonna be real interesting Shocked a 466'' with Charlies fully ported A 429's,diamond 14to1 pistons from Carl, and Lem spec solid roller cam VS. a 472'' with nonported SCJ'S with backcut on intakes by Charlie, scj diamond flat tops from Lem and a Scotty J spec custom solid flat cam, and with a bottle of course Twisted Evil (have to make up for cam, compression & porting) Both are fox hatches running 28x10.5 tires, same gears, well close Mels 3.89's 9'' to my 3.90's 8.8'' both spooled, he runs a c4 to my c6,he's got a ported victor by Charlie with a nasty custom pro systems 1000hp carb with dommy blocks vs. my mafia intake with a 1050 dommy, and im about 150 lbs lighter race weight so this is gonna be a blast and like i said before BRING IT cause its time for YOUR WHOOPIN Twisted Evil

No word yet on the heads but I will have the info. this week. Pistons should be here within a week. Progress is to slow for me but it is in the teens outside so I have time.

"We have very good mid-lift numbers and good total flow numbers. The peak numbers are good, but not "flow bench contest winners", if you know what I mean. These heads will run very good going down the track!"

This is what I just got from Uncle Charlie. Lem will get the flow sheet tomorrow and then he specs out a cam. Should be getting the pistons this week too!

Cam is here.

Post  514Fox87 on January 19th 2012, 9:21 pm

Got my Lem custom spec. cam today. .728 lift 270-278 on a 110. Also got the springs, and word from Uncle Charlie that the heads have been shipped. Waiting on pistons which should be here tomorrow or Monday. Then the fun begins.
