I just put in an automatic in my '97. Jasper had it in stock for under 2k. (admittedly discounted cause it was purchased by a business)
I would think they have manual transmissions too... Probably cost less than mine

Its good to know people! My brother ordered it from his shop and then we installed it at home, saving labor costs. Not cheap, but not so expensive that the truck had to go...
Jasper sells to individuals too, but at a higher rate I was told.

I found a good used one for $750.00 and had it put in for $315.00. So far it shifts like a new one. I put Schaeffer fluid in it and its quiet as can be.

Damon,

Tell Chuck the guy had 4-5 more of the ZF 5 speeds there if he wants to get one from the guy.

Is there a auto to manual swap going on? I did a bit of reading on that and got scared of differnet conputers, wiring harness modifications, installation of new pedal assembly... Without a donor truck it looked like too much of a project. The F250 is my daily driver Exclamation
