That first video after 1:20:00 is pretty sad, seeing those kids is reason enough not to build anymore nuclear plants. That could happen anywhere, it was caused by human error. I don't care how safe the idiots on the news say ours are.

Thats the first i've ever heard about the possibility of that second explosion. That would a been a bad mother!

The French are idiots,but we already knew that.

One of the first images taken after the explosion, this pic has always given me the creeps.
I guess it blew most of the graphite out of the reactor, this sure looks like fuel rods.

That is creepy stuff, I've had the pleasure to be around a few nukes and I will say Americans do go the extra mile to make everything safe.

In fact current american standards and designs are not compeditive around the world.... which should make you wonder about designs being done by other countries........ French stuff looks good and sturdy... Korean stuff I be incline to wonder about......

I've been told that what happened at Chernobyl couldnt happen here because of all the safeguards in place, and also the use of boron instead of graphite to control the fission process. That is terrible that it needs a new cover and the rest of the world is just gonna sit back and wait until it is a big problem instead of the pita it would be now.
