Wow you're coming down from Maryland? That's great. Help yourself to my car. I'll even jack it up for you so you can crawl under it. Just bring a rag along and you can even clean off the undercarriage while your under there Very Happy . It looks pretty dirty from the firewall back now that the front end has fresh paint. It will be nice to meet you. See you Friday.

Yep. It picked up some. It went a best of 6.44 at 107 mph. My previous best was a 6.48 at 105 in cool April air. I was spinning some on the starting line and occasionally downtrack at Windy Hollow. I need to find the right strut adjustments and adjust my travel limiters. It wasn't transferring weight like it used too but I think it was because I had the limiters tied down too much. I can't wait to get it on the quarter mile in some good air. I still have a bad 2nd gear flare problem. It was hitting the rev limiter every time in 2nd. The suspension felt pretty good although the rack and pinion is a lot more sensitive than the old box. It turns a little too easy if I'm not careful. Overall I'm pretty satisfied. We'll get it dialed in.

Hopefully we get a track around here somewhere. 3 to 4 hours of driving + hotel rooms makes it a lot more expensive to race. Plus its hard to do any testing. Have you heard anymore about Gateway?

Gateway will be OPEN next year! Driving 2+ hours to race is getting old.

Yep. Saw that last week. I'm pretty excited especially after getting home at 3:30 am from Sikeston last Sunday. Car has definitely picked up. Ran 6.33 at 108. Can't wait to get it back on a 1/4 mile track.

Post  pro64 on Mon 23 Jan 2012 - 15:39

awsome looks great nice job. my 500 has a canton rearsump and a kaase pump . so id have to use frnt steer which would eliminate granada spindles. i wonder if i can get a tubelar k member fox body mustang to work, or stick with mustang 11 frnt end. nice job looks great at track ..
