Hope I get my oil changed in time, boy time flys, I went up to one of the locals tracks today, they are on the right track, they seperated the door cars from the dragsters, and run 1000' , had 88 cars in s/p, can't wait until next week.

!/4 is alot easier to just the stripe for me. But I like running the 1/8 alot better..way easier on parts and the whole ride is still in the "hang on" mode. After about a 800' it seems like just another ride .

The car is ready but the gas tank is empty! Spent over $400
last year in gasoline to tow there and this year the price of
gas is worse yet! Had a fun time last year and met
a lot of great people. Would really love to race it again but
just cant afford the tow this year! Will miss seeing you guys!

Is anybody going to the bash this year, seems everyday someone else can't make it, are we going to have enough to race?

if it were a few hours away I could make it work, 13.5 one way........little tougher. We have some here that make the trip be it long or not, for others it aint as easy.

The fuel i would spend will let me make the whole kov series here local.

I did the math, it would take nearly 900 bucks in fuel to get out there and back, I dont need a long haul award that bad. It sucks its so far away for me, I've love to come spank all that ass..............and I got the shit to back up the talk lol.

Got to side with Jon on this one I've made that run many times.About 8hrs of that is towing on some of the roughest interstate I've ever been on.I had considered taking my car out when Wyatt lived there but it is a pretty harsh and expensive trip.

Gonna be pricey, that's for sure.!!. But hey, it's only a 12-1/2 hr pull. Thru some of the finest scenery that Indiana can offer.

It just seems that people not having the funds to make it, isn't a good enough reason for others. I had 1 and only 1 opportunity to go 3 years ago, and just a few days before I was to leave, fuel took another jump, and I was forced to stay home. Shoot, it's a 26+ hr trip each way for me. Over 1800 miles each way. After some thought, there's no race worth that kind of travel. It has nothing to do with commitment, or dedication. It has to do with alot of people just aren't made of money. I dare say, that IF Jon showed up at the Bash, there'd be ALOT of guys sittin' and watchin' after checkin' out the back end of the 'ol Grande.

those that can make the trip and afford to go will have a great time, I know I was there once...................its not about the race but the people. Besides the mileage and fuel costs I have other obligations that will not allow me to be there.

As far as being scared of gettin whooped..............not hardly...............Even Nick would have to get after the fogger program.....................

Tell ya what, all you "hitters" and "high rollers" recoop from the bash make the same trip out here to OK since its not a problem, we have all the bracket racing you could want with big payouts, and at least 3 organized small tire series with monthly races...............even a few Nick could stand a chance winning.

With a race every month (sometimes more) there is no excuse not to make one, that is unless ya'll are too "cheap".

I'll even take care of your room and board, so there is no excuse there either.

Keith Fulp is excluded from this offer...............
