Unless you're running bricks, you shouldn't need any.

I just put one in a 521 with GRP aluminum rods and Venolia pistons and didn't have to use any mallory. On the other hand all the tolerances were on the high side and it was a pain in the butt getting bearing clearances right. I had to use .001 OS bearings in all the rods and about half the mains. The thrust bearing surface was about .003-,004 too narrow. Check it close when you get it.

I cant speak for the Eagle but my 4.3 Scat Adney had to grind the counter weights down to get enough weight off to balance it, 6.8 Scat H beam rod and a 580 gram Diamond.

That sounds mighty technical and expensive. To get weight off it seems like drilling in certain spots would do it, but i don't know. Hope eagle dont give me a hard time.
Its just that i have an externally balanced eagle that's been balanced with 608gr pistons but now i have 636gr pistons. That's a 28gr differance. Trying to figure out whether to have this crank rebalanced or sale it and get another one that would be internally balanced.
Thanks

He balanced the unit as well, lots cheaper to grind off material than to add mallory.
