Input shaft question

I have another question about my motor swap. I have a c6 transmission i was told i might have to either get a different torque converter or a different input shaft. My question is would i be able to use my current torque converter with the 429 flywheel?. Its a 70 motor going in a 79 truck not sure if the crank pilots were the same size. What are my options here?.
