measurement?
I'm getting a ATI Shorty Glide. would like to know whats the measurement from back of block (BBF) to c/ line of rear on a hard tail.

Variable.
there are a couple of different length couplers available out there. make sure you leave at least enough room to remove the coupler and that will allow you to remove trans without moving engine.

Yes, I'm going to bolt the rear,trans,motor to a sub frame, then I can unbolt the rear and slid it back some. Be like a long set of ladder bars. just need a general idea right now to see about where the engine will set. Going in my econo-p/u

I have a 235in wb hardtail dragster.
From the back of the block to the pinion nut I have 23 inches.
If your building a Van with suspension, isn't the measurement going to be too short for you?

No it already has a 466 C6,, just wanted to get close idea how much more to the rear it'll be, give or take before I get started,
its in the econo-pickup in my Avator

I also have an ATI shorty glide,
And that is 18 1/2 inches from the bellhousing to the rear seal.

Looks like only 4-5" of the pass. head forward will be inside the cab...
