How to winterize the fuel system
I just finished taking my alcohol QFT carb apart and cleaning it. once again it had the "dust " in the float bowls. I sprayed them with wd 40.
After each run all year I shut the motor down by turning off the fuel pump. Should I be leaving the float bowls full to stop the corrosion?
What should I do to flush and protect the rest of the fuel system? I was thinking of starting the motor on gas with 2-stroke oil in it. What are your opinions?

during the race season leave the carb full, I like to hit the accel pumps a few times each week and cycle the fuel pump a few seconds to refill the carb and move the pump vanes a bit.
