Hi everyone,
Getting a start on my setup. Whats the best way to go on the hard lines? Either mount them at the bottom base of the hat? Or direct port at the intake flange? Looking for optimum atomization.
Thanks.

Hi Al,
I would plumb directly into the intake runners. I do not know the optimum distance from the intake flange; mine are approximately 3" up.
As far as atomization is concerned that would be more of an effect from nozzle type/deflector and fuel  pressure if I am not mistaken. Someone else that is more knowledgeable than me can maybe chime in.
A really good source of info for me was the  HRE forum, had some online calculators that took RPM, CID, VE, etc., into consideration to help with nozzle and by pass sizes. One thing is you HAVE to know your pump flow in GPM. I sent mine off to Dave Kohler & had it flowed.
Hope this helps.

You want the nozzles in the intake runners so you can adjust
and tune each cylinder. Under the hat is usually for blower
motors so the up nozzles help cool the blower. Port nozzles
need to be as close to the head as possible to minimize
the runner distance.
