I am Going To Bump This Thread Cool.

Reason: I was Looking at These Ford Dana and Sterling Axles Lately Myself.

I Got a Non Running Derileck 1980's F250 With a 70U Rear for 5 Bills, 460 Carbed C6 2WD XLT Reg Cab.

I knew The Rearend Was Worth Almost what I Paid.

I put a Battey and A Fresh 600VS Holley on it and a Junk Tire on The Chrome Rim as it Had a Spare on it To get on The Trailer and Back.

Need less to Say it Runs Extremely Well For What it is.

I sold my/sons Old 1979 F150 4x4 with a High Pinion 44 Open and a Detroit Locked 9" with 38" Swampers 4.56's Granny 4 Spd. for 3.500 Ragged and Beat to The Hilt with a weak non running at the time 351W.

Anyways WTF is Up With This D44 High Pinion Front Open 4:09/1 Geared with a overhaul and some Paint for 3,800 Dollars.

This Guy is Usually Extremely Budget Friendly.

It's The Long Text. FleeBay Link I Mentioned Directly Above!!! It's for a Ford F350 to F550 Chasis Cab Rare Limited Differential. It's a Giant One That Looks Like a 9" Ford without the Seperate Pinion Unit.

It is a Rare Unit Used for a While in The Most Super Extra Duty Rigs. Think U-Haul and The Like.

It's a Ford/Dana S135 Series.

I Would Skip it. If It's Too Good To Be True it Likely Is.

All The Bigish Light Detroit Stuff is 225 Series and Up Number Wise. The Biggest Axle I believe 2.75", as Far As I have Seen and If Memory Serves 54 spline. I believe it was a 450S Series.
