Small Block Hemi
Might be old news to some on here, but does anybody know more about them. I have no idea how they are performance wise, but the cool factor is way up there. Would definitely be cool in a street rod. http://mooregoodink.com/crown-jewels-for-fords/?utm_source=ActiveCampaign&utm_medium=email&utm_content=MGI+News+Brief+Issue+%2347&utm_campaign=MGI+News+Brief+Issue+%2347+MISC

Re: Small Block Hemi
That's pretty cool. I know that FPS (Ford Performance Solutions) offers a full Hemi head for SB Fords too, but details about them are scarce.

Re: Small Block Hemi
There certainly must be more than one manufacturer.

Nick Areas entered and ran this Ford small block Hemi in the Engine Masters Challenge a few years ago.
I believe the heads were something of his own design.
In order to be in that contest, the heads and components MUST be available to the general public.

Re: Small Block Hemi
Damn, and only $4995. That is a good price and with the fact you can make some pretty big inches out of a windsor block it should make some power. The Nick Jr ones were super expensive IIRC.

I like Greg Brown a lot as he is an Engine Masters Challenge regular and his heads are really nice stuff partly because they will use a 351W intake manifold but, you must realize that $4,995.00 only covers those complete heads with that kit and nothing further.
So, the price of the Arias kit comes with:
1. Spec billet roller cam; (reversed lobes).
2. pushrod set
4. Rocker arm set
5. "ARP" stud, washer & nut set
6. "Cometic" head gasket set
7. Header flanges and appropriate hardware
8. billet valley cover and inspection cover set
9. finned aluminum valve covers with all related hardware
10. water block-off plate and cast thermostat log
11. oil drain-back line kit
12. oil pan drain back bungs
13. all other related fasteners
This additional stuff is not free
Re: Small Block Hemi
Like Randy says...Nick Arias jr has sbf hemi heads avail too.
My Buddy built a 427 windsor using the Arias heads. It made 740hp on pumpgas. (It went in a Gold 37 Ford that made the Great 8 at the Detroit Autorama this yr if anybody was there)
