Hi all, hopefully this is the right spot to post this question. I've got a 79 mustang I'm considering dropping a 460 into. It has the k member and 8.8 axle from an 89. This is just something to do for fun, and I'm trying not to spend any money on it for now at least. The engine is from an 89 f250, and I'm going to use the C6 and EFI from the truck. I know I'll need to have a driveshaft made, and I'll have to cut the hood for the throttle body, (I actually did this once before), I'll make my own motor mounts, my big question is whether anyone has ever tried to do this with the stock truck manifolds. If I get the car all set up and I like it I'll probably build a motor down the road, and buy the right headers, but for now I'd like to know if the manifolds can be wedged in there just to have some fun. If no one has any info on this I may be reporting back with my findings!
