Progressive or 1:1 secondaries?
I have a pro systems 1450 gas carb and it came with the secondary linkage arm in the 2nd hole from the slowest opening secondary spot. No throttle stop racing, would it work better at 1:1? Have not driven the car yet just wondering what anyone else has tried and any difference it has made. 598" engine.
Thanks, Sheldon G.

If it is an external linkage carb it takes less than 10 minutes to change it so, try 'em all and learn what is best for THAT combination.

If you're running a trans brake, it is less critical. But if you are foot braking, or running a manual trans, you may want to test each position for the best results.
