I have a '74 Gran Torino with a '70 Lincoln 460. When I bought the car it did not have posi traction. I'm looking to put one in and was looking for some guidance. Thanks in advance.

What should I be looking for to put in a positrac Empty How do I determine my gear ratio?

Post  Steve February 23rd 2021, 8:52 am

I'm going to use my Gran Torino as an everyday driver. I'd like it to be quick off the line but not real interested in top in speeds. I will occasionally go on the hiway to travel to car shows. 100-200 miles away. Any suggestions for gears?

Detroit Locker worked great in my ‘72 Torino. 3.70 rear gear. FMX tranny.
