Picking a transmission for a Street Only Application
I have been trying to pull the trigger on which way to go between these three transmission scenarios with a 500hp engine, This is 100% street/cruiser. I would like to hear your opinion and why you might recommend one over the other. Initially I was going to install a Manual, no question, on this project but long term maybe a good auto setup is the wiser choice. My wife can technically drive a manual but she prefers the auto option and she may give me hypertension if I have to sit and listen to drive with a brand new manual .
Option 1, Tremec TKX
Option 2, 4R70W
Option 3, C6 w/ Gear Vendors

What’s the application? Why not an E4OD?
