06 Mustang build

Well the belt saga continues. I contacted the company and they said they revised the belt tensioner bracket and would send it and a new belt. Got them in and installed and the belt is too short. (Of the 4 k060795 belts I’ve looked at they were marked 80”x2 80-1/8” 80-5/8”) tried the 81-1/8” again and it may work but it’s at the end of the tensioner so I picked up an 80-3/4” today to try tomorrow.



While I was trying belts I decided to make sure the radiator still fit and it has good clearance still so that’s a plus.

I hope the new belt works for you!! Is that a MSD Blaster 2 coil you have?If so i have some pictures why i changed to the MSD Blaster 3 Coil!!

Yes it is a Blaster 2. It was on my pulling truck and it was sitting in an old refrigerator not being used.

Success! The belt fits! Now I can move on to other things. I may just get this thing running this year.
