Multi keyway crank timing gear

I'm in the process of putting together a MEL 430 engine and may need to correct the timing of the cam I'm getting ground, MEL parts aren't exactly easy to source and am worried I won't find a timing set with a multi keyway crank gear, does anyone know if a 429-460 crank gear can be substituted? I know the ID is the same as both the 429-460 and FE but don't know if the offset is the same so that the chain run will have proper alignment.
