1/2" id fuel line too big for me? Empty 1/2" id fuel line too big for me?

im building a 472 street car and not gonna see the track with holley red pump/holley regulator,holley 850 carb.stock crank and mild cam.I bought 1/2" id fuel line,is it gonna b too big?thanx

As long as you have the pump (holley red IMO is too small) to push the 1/2" column of fuel it will work, but You don't need a fuel line that large for a 472" motor. 3/8" is plenty.

good points. After reading it again I would go with a Blue or black pump.
