Is there anything special about the solenoid in this kit I have a progressive controller I haven't used yet, I also have some good working spare Cheater solenoids so is there any reason I can use a Cheater solenoid to make this kit?

Thanks Justin, I really didn't want to use an inferior solenoid as a safety especially at their suggested retail.

If you're worried about solenoid wear from pulsing them maybe using a timing ramp (instead of pulsing the solenoids) to adjust n2o power levels is a better way.

Or for added safety ad an in-line 1/4 turn ball valve instead of another solenoid.

Good points Dave, nothing the maintenance program wont take care of, and after the run I always shut the bottle off and purge the line.

We usually do NOT recommend a redundant solenoid. All it does is hurt flow. Progressives DO NOT hurt plungers like most think. RACERS HURT plungers with high bottle pressure, long duration's of pressure, and opening valves to fast.. I have guys that use controllers with the proper methods and go years without an issue.. SJ

Thanks Steve,
I usually use around 900 psi give or take I usually shut the bottle off around 875 and it creeps up and I purge the excess.
