Thanks to the Ky crew, Part 2 Photos added
Got back from Owensboro at about 1:30am this morning. Not a bad trip..just long as usual..
Doug will be over this afternoon and we will get pics of the "new addition."
And now to the IMPORTANT stuff.........
To Charlie Evans.... Thank you for putting up with my trailer at your farm. I know it probably got in the way while it was there. It helped ALOT, not having to drag it back and forth empty.
To Phillip Oakley.... A VERY BIG Thank you for your help and hard work in getting me in a new AMERICAN racecar. Thanks for explaining the options and going the extra mile to point out things I might need or at least want to think about.. Words can not express my gratitude.
Next time I'm in Owensboro, the steaks and/or Prime rib is on me. We need to include the Godfather (Lem) too.
Thanks again for all your help..
Guys..let me say this about the new car....It sure is PUUUURRTTTTYYYY !!!

Mikey,
You are welcome to store the trailer out at the farm anytime. It's not the first time I have stored either racercars or trailers for guys at my place. Especially some of my friends from the west coast, who have raced at Beech Bend and then come back a month or so later and raced at Norwalk or Indy & etc.
I am glad you got home safely and don't give Doug any rest, make him get up off the couch and go to work helping you
Uncle Charlie

Thanks guys
The plan is to put my 555 A head motor in it. The induction system is up for grabs right now.. The future plan is for
BIGGER and better..
Randy..ain't skeeered of no door car...more worried about the wifey running off some of our SHORT racetracks around here. Not everybody can stop a hardtail without bouncing it...Besides...I'm still driving Doug's car..lol
Hope to have it finished by the time the tracks re-open in January

Nice looking dragster Mike !
The cockpit on those new dragsters are looking more like air planes inside... all those fancy gauges.
