Re: front strut ?
Don't know if it's still true but in the past I have heard some of the Fox body guys say that the QA1/AVO/Hall (or whatever) Fox struts are worse than the Strange Fox stuff as far as sealing/leaking/life span is concerned. But they might be better these days than they were in the past. The Strange Fox struts are usually priced in a range that even if they do eventually go bad, replacing them isn't too big a wallet hit.
On the subject of adjusting/limiting the struts vs adding wheelie bars I will say that on some super hard leaving/big torque cars (that can actually pull the front tires straight up-out of the staging beams hard), a racer might not always see as much of a calming effect from tighting up the valving/limiting the travel. In these situations with enough power & the right amount of inital hit the front end is comming up fast even with the struts tight and/or limited. It just depends on the total combo & type of race car.

Re: front strut ?
i have had very good luck with QA1 and will be using them again on the new car if we decide to not go spindle mount and then will be using Santhuffs. We are rebuilding the QA1's since the rods are bent in both of them but they will be like new. I hear that the Santhuffs don't need limiters and they are made in Texas so that is two very good things right there.

I know Santhuff makes full chassis struts in a few different short travel lengths. Maybe they offer a few different travel lengths for the Mustang stuff too.

I think the Afcos only come in the 90/10 variety though.

Nick, if I where going to spend that kind of money for struts, I would just go ahead and pop for their set with the spindles and save the weight over the stock stuff. One day I will, if I can find one of those mason jars Mikey says I have buried in the back yard,
