I went to the local 1/8 mile track Sat. night and there was the coolest 57 Mercury 2 door wagon there with a big block in it just looked bad A$$$$. Most folks had no idea what it was.

I need Diiligasdave to photoshop my Tbird into a wagon and see what it'd look like Laughing lol! I love the old wagons since I've got older. I had a 63 Failane wagon ,I hated it then, I wish like hell I had kept it now!!

There used to be a Baby blue 67 Fairlane wagon around the midwest that was driven by a xtremely heavy gentleman, that had a 427 FE and a 4 speed. That thing was so cool to watch. It would pull the wheels 2' and shift 2nd and pull them right back up. Haven't seen it in years Smile

It may have been the A/S car of Dick Charbenah ( not sure how it was spelled). Came right from Ford like that in 67, he also race for Ford and had one of the light weight two door post Fairlanes, very quick car. He worked with my ex-wife.
