That is a heck of a deal if you were local and could pick it up yourself.Man $400.00 you couldn't even buy the pistons for that price.

Regardless of condition, it's a great deal...even if it is a rebuildable core....even if the rotating assembly needs to be re-blocked with fresh bore, rings and bearings....it seems like a good deal.

Anyone recognize the piston brand? They are not TRW/Speed PRo L2443's.

I do know if you buy this short block I would strongly suggest disassembly and check the block out if I remember right it had a main girdle on it. so there might be a chance it's line bore needs checked.....

What are you all talking about "green block"??? If you know something, tell it. i'm sure there is more than one green block. Don't be talking in riddles. Some of us Truck Pullers will paint our blocks tractor colors. I'm sorry I posted this.
