No the TFS Mafia will peak almost the same as the A manifold.

I turned my 562 to 7600 rpm with 486 gears at the nmra event last year. I lifted at about the 1000' beams because it bent my windshield braces about 2 " back , it clocked a 6.65 et at 1000' . I am not saying it was pulling 100% at that rpm , but it was still pulling some . Very Happy The car had been 165 mph 2 times on 1/4 mile passes with Charlies 533 and did not bend the windshield braces.

I don't think you could get a better manifold unless it was a custom sheet metal or something like Blake done to his , which is going to cost you some $$$ either way.

The so called 'mafia' tfs thing is much better than a ported vic. thing.
J.Y. Kelly's 562" deal :
951Hp @ 6,700 RPM
951Hp @ 6,800 RPM
951Hp @ 6,900 RPM
951Hp @ 7,000 RPM
It should have been pulled higher i.m.o. Not that I think It'd made more....just to see how it was past peak.

So where did the above engine peak 6,700 or 7,000? I.m.o. what one does not need is the Victor power curve where this engine could peak at 6,600-6,700 RPM and then fall off the map.
Based on J.Y. Kelly's dyno numbers it looks like the engine got happiest at 6,700 and kept on trucking. J.Y. says he has ran the engine to 7,600 with reasonable results which indicates he's deal can/will run good past peak....i.e. not fall off the map.
