You aint kiddin, like 28 days so far over 100, and its been 110-115 here for over a week.

My pool was 97 this weekend.

Not quite as bad up here in southern Nebraska, but the heat index has been between 105 and 115 for the last 7 days, with more to come. The nuns are even saying "hell" up here because it's so hot. Laughing

Not to worry though, winter is just around the corner, and we'll forget all about this heat when it gets back to sub zero. Laughing

..............and the current temp on that link is wrong, the mesonet sits over there in a alfalfa field on the river bottom, and its right where the tornado went through there a couple months ago....methinks it got dinged or somthin lol both my thermometers read 100 right now, humidity is really thick this morning too.

Did I mention I hate f-ckin summer?

I'm right with you hatin' summer, Jon. I always get a laugh when I stop into a convenience store and a chick behind the counter is complaining that it is so hot. Summer would probably be a lot more fun if a guy didn't have to work in it. And the intelligent person sitting behind a desk that everyone working out in the field has to wear fire retardent clothing. OK, I'll stop.

we been in the high 90's a while now.i sure did hate the "jacket"at tnt friday night but i put it on.the temp aint as bad as the humidity,75-80..................can you say wet all day! hope it lets up for the bash. Sad

We've been at 95*-99* the last four days with dew points in the upper 70's to low 80's. Lows at night between 76*-78*. Heat index has been 115*-120*... warm enough for me!

you know its been so hot for so long when NOAA has a special weather statement about highs in the low 80's for the coming week.........these are usually only posted for pending sever weather, wildfires, tornadoes, floods, eccessive heat and cold...............never seen one issued for "nice" or "good" weather on the way lol.

We smashed all summertime records I know of, and even some national heat records as well. Hell its 104 as I type this. I sure cant wait for some mid to low 80 highs and 50's for lows...my ac might get a little break...........

Now off to the track to go sweat it out for another damn race......... Mad

we got 2.5 here about 3 weeks ago, enough to green up the grass and make me mow for the 3rd time this summer..its already brown and not growing again lol.
