Fuel Pump Excentric

Post  JR Performance Motorsport on July 25th 2011, 5:47 pm

My new cams have 7/16" bolts instead of 3/8". What do you use to drill them larger, I have killed 3 drill bits so far ?

Thanks
Jim

Edit: I've seen you need to drill the eccentric........not the cam. You may need to use a machine tool on a Bridgeport style mill.

What Lem said, the parts are to hard for a regular drill bit.

Use an eccentric from an FE engine which already has a 7/16" hole.
