setting timing with vaccum advance
i am having a brain fart, what is the correct way to set timing while using vacuum advance...or it is better to not run the vacuum advance on a mild 429 using a dizzy that has a re-curve kit in it..what determines the amount of advance if using a vacuum advance?

pull the vac hose off the dizzy set it .but it depends on what cam if you need it or not I have ran cams that worked great with out the avanced hooked when hooked couldn't ever to get the preformance out of it as I could with unhooked.but have ran cams that would not preform with out it hooked.

and dont forget to plug the hose when you take it off.. a golf Tee works great
