PRAYERS NEEDED

Guys the hits just keep on coming for me and my family. Dad has found out that he has throat cancer Friday afternoon. He thought it was just a sore throat that wouldn't go away.So he went back too the doctors and ran a CT SCAN and a chest x-ray Friday. The throat doctor told dad straight out it was cancer. They are going too put him to sleep and do a Byoic ( sorry spelling isn't my strong point.....LOL) Wedesday. The mass as they call it is so big that they can"t see the bottom of it that"s why they are butting him to sleep.Surgery is already schuled for Monday the 29th of August.The mass is so BIG that kemo is not going to get rid of it. It is down close to his vocalcords and voice box and there is very good chance he will loose his voice compltley.

I really hate to hear this Chuck.I will be praying for him.Guys,Eddie(Chuck's dad) is one of the most down to earth and likeable guys I have ever met.I really look forward to seeing him on these occasions we get together.He ALWAYS makes it a point to make sure everyone is taken care of when we are all together.I hope and pray for the best for this fine man.Chuck,if you or mom need anything,I ain't that far away big guy.---RED

Sorry to hear Chuck, I went thru that with my Dad about 7-8 years ago, he made it thru but lost his voice box. If your dad needs someone to talk to about it I'll give you my dads number and he can talk with him, sometimes it helps to talk to someone who's been thru it.
