That's not copper...at the bearing....gotta be some kind of 'magic' that green oil leaves. The tint came right off after very little rubbing with scotchbrite.

Maybe ...I can't say for sure. I will say that the bearings look great and I'd reuse them after 3 years service ....rods and mains. I.m.o. this speaks well of the billet crank, billet rods and A460 block.

for sure,and it aint like he's easy on it. lol! the tune is what made them nice bearings........and the green oil.lol

Here are some pics of the rod bearings Ms mustang took. I have to give Lem and bass boat Bob a pat on the back for the "ideal" bearing clearances and balance job . This engine has had its tail ran off for the last 3 years and the bottom end looks great in my opinion.
