Yes they will live but you'll need to take care to not spin it to the moon. DO NOT DETONATE IT! Use a minimum of a girdle but splayed caps would help. Even still It will have some cap walk but that's the nature of the block. Use good head studs. Don't hillbilly it up. Contact BOSS 429 on here and he'll give you the best advice possible

I made a tick over 1000 on a unfilled 2 bolt D9 block with a relatively aggressive tune on a single plate at 460 inches. Boost is a little friendlier and build more linear so i would venture to say 1200 hp is within the realm of possibility, probly even reliably. You WILL have cap walk, but if you keep an eye on it and the bearings look good who cares.

is cap walk from the power being generated through the crank what makes that happen or higher rpms? Or both? I cant imagine that I will need to put alot of boost to the 521 to make that power. Twisted Evil

Cap walk is the effect of the cap bending in the middle and scrubbing itself on the block. It happens because of quite a few things, especially detonation. There are ways to limit it, 4 bolt splayed caps being the best. Cool
