Post  machwon169 on November 24th 2011, 12:50 am

Wanting to buy a set of scj heads or a set of a429 heads...
If you have it with matching intake and ported to the heads that works to.
Price range $1000-$1800 depending on what's there. Thanks

I will say this if that what you want to pay you better get a pair of DOVEs and start grinding, cuz I don't think you will find any. Unless you go buy you some Pro Crappers, but then you still won't have anything worth a Chit....

It's only $200 less then what he was asking... I'll keep looking... I have a set of ported doves now... But for the power I'm after I don't think they will do... And there stock valve sized so bigger valves are gonna cost $600-$700....

I'm not here to hurt feelings or anything... It's his stuff to sell... He can ask what he wants for it. But if I can't find a set Ill use the doves.

No, it's not the price. But I'm not going to take it in the shorts by covering the shipping....
Mach wanted to give me $1800 shipped.... My price is $1800 and he pays shipping..Which I was willing to split with him..
The PayPal deal is my choice...Never have..never will...

BUT, thanks for the PM you didn't send, telling me you didn't want them...

I'm not posting to upset anyone as well, but it seems the response to the original post is far ahead of ANY $1000 to $1800 that someone will remove from their wallet in an effort to equal the cylinder head/intake offer! The economy may insist it is a "buyer's market", the deal offered is "cheap" compared to ANYTHING your gonna do or find unless you purchase junk!

I'll pass on a lesson I learned long ago, if I may? I acquired a date with a beautiful girl that was a new acquaintance. When I arrived at her door wearing blue jeans and a collared shirt she appeared in an evening gown! At first I was astonished only to learn she expected an evening at the Country Club while I had in mind Burger Chef! Yes, the door was slammed in my face!

The moral of this story? I was expecting a Country Club piece of ass at a Burger Chef price!

Not an instigator, mind you,
Just Dave.

Only had 2 problems with money orders thru the mail . one was my fault , other wrong address but match PM the seller sent . Those were short money , but got it back . $1800 plus shipping is nothing compared to what I sent and others have thru the mail
could alway get on the bus Gus and deal in cash
