Are the pistons gas ported? are you running a vac pump?

Yes they're gas ported and i'm not sure on pump or evac sysrem.

Id definetly lean towards the lighter oil and back cut rings.

Well, if you have a consistent machinist who regularly does your hone jobs, and you are sure the rings will hook up and seal, I'd run the low tension rings. If you don't run a vacuum pump, at least run the old tried and true Moroso crankcase evac system from the collectors to the valve covers.

If it's a new guy you don't know anything about, you might want to give a second thought about running std. tension rings.

Auctually i have low tension in the mail, total seal classic race #crl-4325-285. I dont know about them having a back cut. The pistons are gas ported.

CRL-4325-285,.043 .043 3/16, 4.530 bore. Is anybody running this ring? About how much nos can thay safely handle?
