just finished assembling my 502 it has a 1050 dominator victor intake msd distributer p51 heads out of box comp mech roller 670 lift 254 260 duration. 10 to 1 comp was wondering app hp n torque.

About 450 plus

Shouldnt this be north of 650 hp with a possibility of 700? I see you want to run pump gas but the comp ratio is a bit conservative at 10-1.
The upper limit should be closer to 11-1 on pump gas.

thats wat im guessing. bottom line it is wat it is. will dyno in spring then order converter. set carb timing so on.....

Dan I allready said 19068.5 hp I figured that would make him elated with joy...

My 502 made 740. SCJ heads, 12:1compression and a little bigger roller cam with an 1150 carb. With a good tune you may be 650+ ?

740 nice number. i might raise compression to 11 to 1 . for now keeping it like it is. how u like the cj heads .

I really do not have anything else to compare then to but I think they worked great. I wish I would have went with more compression though.

scj heads work great, it was a tossup between those and p51 s for me. the one thing i know about building a engine is soon as u acheive ur number hp and torque, u begin looking to make more... 740 is a good number for ur combo.. i dont think iwould go much more with stock block. how much bigger is ur cam over mine. peace
