Yes this is a GM but was gave to me it was my Grandmother's car so much for a free car.I have had the heads reworked and surfaced it had a warp head.It started fine put about 30 miles on it shut it off and now it only starts up for a few sec.then shuts off.I have changed the ecm, ing. swicth, crank position sensor, fuel pump and relay checked all grounds and oil pressure swicth. This thing is about run me crazy I have over a $1000 does anybody know what makes the injectors fire on a 3800 tuned port I am about ready to take my losses and sale it for scrap.

Jim run a wire all the way back to the fuel pump and see if that fixes it, I take it jumping the pins on the O/P switch did not change anything? There may be a bad ground or corroded plug in the wiring going back to the fuel pump. I have even had bad new fuel pumps before, Autozone, Advance... all sell the same shitty pump.

Talk about being pissed off I layed on the ground in February during a freezing rainstorm -30 temps -50 windchill installing a fuel pump in the parking lot of my ex-wife's college only to get it completely done and the pump be bad and have to do it all over again 20 minutes later.

Could be a problem with the security system. My buddy's car did the same thing and it was the body computer, apparently it's a pretty common problem.
