Just locked in a grudge race with a brand X, did not get the best of odds, but think i will do okay.


His car
70 model nova 6.0 certified chassis 4 link sitting on 28x10.5 tires bolt on front clip with factory frame welded over chasis. Motor 632 BBC with BB5 Heads pored by Sonnys. Fogger and plate.

Best ET to date 5.06 with two years running his type of combo



My Car

Stock suspension mustang, Funny car cage, threw floor subrames, 9 inch rear
Motor SBF 423 Cubic inch Eldebrock V2 Heads by RFD two Monte Smith Foggers.
best et to date 5.30 131mph one small kit. only 2 nitrous passes so far on this combo.

Going testing soon as weather lets up hopefully next weekend.

everybody think i am going to get whipped, at least the chevy camp does, but it will be recorded, i am going to light the pipes, and see what this small block can do, so far i have been very impressed. we see what happens once i get the progressive and second kit working. the last time i run these guys i had a stock block 383 Windsor against a 565 BBC on a plate both in fox body mustangs, he was faster 5.78 to a 5.82 but i won on a holeshot

what have your 60ft's been?

1.23-1.26 but with the new converter that is coming i am hoping to be in the 1.18-1.20 range i have not been able to get all my electronics working together but i think i have gotten most of the bugs out. the Race is Scheduled for the 2nd weekend in April at Motor Mile Dragway in Radford VA. so i should be able to have some more testing done before then.
