FORD RACE IN SOUTHERN IL?

theres has to be a 1/8 mile track south that would like to have a ford race?

benton/I57?, charleston? anyone know these guys to ask? or somewhere else maybe?

Benton (I-57) puts on some really big door car shows. We raced there a couple of times last year with Cap'n Jack's Mustang. Low qualifer (if my memory is correct) one time.

I can get his number for you. I would suggest maybe a ford takes on everybody day . It's a tough sell to ask a track owner to have a brand specific day without a track lease agreement or something in this economy . You are asking them to possibly tell all of their regular racers they can not race that day and a track owner needs some kind of commentment . It would also have to be promoted to be successful and that is a big chore in itself.
