WTB:

Just started working on a project and collecting parts...looking for a Dove-A block, not over .060+

but a A-460 block would work too.

Send me a PM if you have anything,,,,

Thanks,

I'm in San Diego County.

I have a friend who was going to sell me a 429scj 4 bolt block but a pending divorce has all his stuff tied-up.

I was looking for a vintage 4 bolt as my first choice..... I've been offered a couple 4 bolt conversion blocks with splayed caps. I've been told they are stronger than the factory 4 bolts ?

This is going to be a 6,500 rpm engine, I'm thinking ......

Nice Project and you should be ashamed of your self for neglecting such a fine automobile What a Face

I have a D0VE-A Block on a stand that I salvaged from a 70 Mercury Marquis before it got crushed. I had to take a hammer to a few rods & pistons in order to get them out of the block. One of these days I'll use it for some "Project"...

Salvaged a 460 with a D1VE Block out of a Lincoln as well... it's still together.

Does it HAVE to be a D0VE-A Block?
